But it was clear that her friends were not in the mood for excuses. They had spent a fortune on that taxi, and they were not about to let Lilli off the hook that easily.



"Well, we're not going to let you get away with it," spat Stella, her eyes flashing with anger. "You owe us, and you're going to pay. But not in the way you think."



Lilli raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite herself. "And how do you propose that I repay you?" she asked, her heart already racing with anticipation.



"We're going to make you give in to tickling," replied Gisy, her grin spreading across her face. "And if you can't handle it, then you don't deserve to be our friend."
