She scanned the footage, noting the various employees going about their business. Suddenly, her eyes widened in surprise. "Wait," she breathed, leaning in closer to the screen. "Is that...?"

Her heart racing, she zoomed in on the image, her fingers trembling slightly as she enlarged it. There he was - the missing employee, plastered to the bottom of her shoe like a piece of gum. A slow, wicked grin spread across her face as she realized the truth. "You're right," she said, a tone of mock sincerity in her voice. "I do have security footage of me possibly stepping on him." She paused, savoring the moment. "But I'm afraid I'm just going to have to ignore it."

With a smirk, she leaned back in her chair and laced her fingers behind her head, taking in the view of her towering form reflected in the computer screen. "Does he really think I'm going to stop and check my feet for him?" she mused aloud. "After all the trouble he's caused?" Her voice hardened. "If he wants to be rescued," she said, her eyes glinting with cold amusement, "he's going to have to keep up with me. Because I'm not going to slow down for him - not now, not ever."

A chill ran down the spine of anyone who heard her words, knowing that Amazon was not a woman to be crossed. And as for the tiny figure at her feet, well...he could only hope that she would eventually take pity on him. But for now, he was just a speck on her immaculate shoes - and she had far more important things to worry about.
