Mia felt a wave of nausea wash over her as she realized what was happening. She tried to speak, but the words caught in her throat. "What... what are you doing?" she managed to choke out.

Dr. Bardock didn't answer her question; instead, he turned back to the machine and pressed another button. Suddenly, Mia felt a sharp tingling sensation all over her body. She looked down and gasped; her clothes were already beginning to shrink, tightening around her body like a second skin.

Panic set in as she watched helplessly as her jeans, shirt, and shoes shrank down to nothing, revealing her naked form. The machine hummed louder, the tingling sensation growing more intense. She felt herself being lifted off the ground, suspended in mid-air.

And then, without warning, she was dropped onto the floor. She landed with a soft thud, her eyes wide with terror as she looked up at Dr. Bardock. He was towering over her now, his expression unreadable. "Well, Mia," he said, his voice steady. "It seems the experiment has been successful."
