Without warning, the Commander lunges forward, pinning Evan to the wall with a glare that could freeze water. "You two will reconcile while you're tied up for days," he growls, his voice like gravel scraping against stone. "And when you do, you'll see that your little game of deception has only made things worse for both of you."
