Before you can protest, she takes a piece of chewed gum out of her mouth and plasters it to the bottom of her flip-flop. Then, with a sly grin, she presses you right into the glob, ensuring that you're stuck to her foot forever. She stands up, her heels clicking on the floor, and walks away, leaving you there to contemplate your fate.
