Ramatpun - Tall Childhood Friend 3
Story by Ramatpun
The sun was just starting to set, casting long shadows across the playground as Emily and her friend Sarah made their way towards the school gates. It had been a long day for both of them, but they were glad to be finished with classes for the day.
As they walked and chatted about their plans for the weekend, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of childhood nostalgia wash over her. She remembered playing on these swings and slides when they were younger, chasing each other around the jungle gym, and laughing until their sides hurt. It felt like another lifetime ago.
Suddenly, a familiar figure emerged from behind a nearby tree, causing both girls to stop in their tracks. There stood Ramatpun, their tall childhood friend who had moved away years ago. He was taller than ever, towering over the both of them at an impressive six feet and four inches.
"Ramatpun!" Emily exclaimed, running up to give him a hug. "Wow, look at how much you've grown!"
He chuckled warmly, returning her embrace. "I can't believe it's been so long, Emily. It's good to see you again."
Turning to Sarah, he extended his hand in greeting. "And you must be Sarah. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Blushing slightly, Sarah shook his hand with a smile. "It's nice to meet you too, Ramatpun."
The three of them stood there chatting for several minutes, catching up on old times and reminiscing about their shared experiences growing up together. As the sun began to set further, casting an orange glow across the playground, Emily couldn't help but feel grateful for this brief moment of nostalgia with her old friend.
"Well," said Ramatpun eventually, breaking away from their conversation, "I should probably get going. It was great seeing you both again."
With a final wave goodbye, he turned and started walking towards his car, his long legs eating up the distance quickly. Watching him go, Emily felt a pang of sadness that their reunion was already over. But she held onto the memory of their encounter, knowing that it would stay with her for years to come.
