My Little Crush
Scarlett, an eager and innocent 10 years old girl with large, expressive green eyes and long shiny hair tied into pigtails, skipped merrily down the sidewalk, her little hands clasped tightly behind her back. She wore a pink dress with white polka dots and a matching bow in her hair, which bobbed as she moved. She hummed a tune, oblivious to the world around her, lost in her own little world of make-believe.
As she walked, she found herself growing increasingly flustered by the fact that she had a crush; it was the first time she had felt such a strange, inexplicable sensation. She couldn't help but blush and giggle every time she thought about it, and she didn't understand why it made her heart race and her stomach flip-flop.
Her mind wandered back to the object of her affections: her older brother's best friend, Johnny. He was older than her by just a few years, but to her, he was tall, strong, handsome, and so much more grown-up than she was. He had kind eyes and a mischievous grin that made her giggle uncontrollably whenever he flashed it at her.
She remembered how he would always tease her gently, pretending to be scared of her when she would try to scare him back, or how he would always make sure she had enough to eat even though he was supposed to be watching out for her brother. He was always there when she needed him, and she had developed a secret little crush on him because of that.
Scarlett's face turned beet red at the thought of it, but she couldn't help the butterflies that fluttered in her stomach every time she thought about him. She hoped he wouldn't laugh at her if he ever found out how she felt about him.
As she continued walking, she felt herself growing taller, her previously small frame stretching and expanding until she towered over the buildings around her. Her pigtails reached the clouds, and her once short dress now hung off of her like a tent. She looked down at herself, amazed at how much she had grown in mere seconds.
She giggled to herself, realizing that this was just a dream. It wasn't real, and she couldn't possibly be as tall as a giant in real life. She let out a sigh of relief, feeling her body shrink back to its normal size. She continued walking, her mind wandering back to Johnny once more.
Suddenly, she heard a loud roar echoing through the streets. She looked around, her eyes widening in fear as she realized that the source of the sound was coming from behind her. She turned around, her heart pounding as she saw a massive giantess towering over the city, towering over everything in its path.
The giantess looked down upon her with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. Scarlett couldn't believe her eyes; this wasn't supposed to happen! She backed away slowly, her eyes fixed on the giantess's enormous feet which seemed to shake the ground with every step she took.
Suddenly, the giantess reached out towards her, her massive hand easily engulfing Scarlett's entire body. She couldn't help but scream as she was lifted off the ground, her tiny body dwarfed by the giantess's huge hand. As she was lifted higher and higher into the air, she could feel her stomach dropping and her head spinning.
Before she knew it, Scarlett found herself staring up at the sky, the giantess's face looming over her like a mountain. She couldn't help but let out a whimper of fear, feeling so insignificant and powerless in the giantess's presence.
The giantess seemed to take pity on her, lowering her back down to the ground gently. Scarlett landed with a thud, her heart still racing from the fright she had just experienced. She looked up at the giantess, her eyes filled with wonder and fear.
The giantess knelt down in front of her, her eyes fixed on Scarlett's face. She let out a deep, rumbling chuckle that shook the ground beneath their feet. "Don't be afraid, little one," she said, her voice echoing through the streets. "I won't hurt you."
Scarlett nodded, still trembling from the adrenaline rush she had just experienced. She looked up at the giantess, feeling a strange mix of terror and fascination washing over her. She couldn't help but stare, transfixed by the sheer size and power of this incredible creature.
As she watched, the giantess reached out again, this time scooping Scarlett up into her hand like a doll. She lifted her up to eye level, and Scarlett found herself staring into the giantess's eyes, feeling the warmth of her breath on her face.
"You're so small," the giantess murmured, her voice a gentle rumble. "But I won't squish you, don't worry." She gave Scarlett a playful wink before setting her back down on the ground.
Scarlett blushed, feeling her cheeks heat up even more. She couldn't believe what was happening; she had never imagined anything so incredible or surreal in her entire life. As she watched, the giantess began to walk away, her massive frame towering over the city once again.
Scarlett stood there, watching until the giantess was out of sight. She was still trembling from the experience, but she couldn't help feeling a strange sense of awe and wonder. She had never felt so insignificant, yet so alive and excited all at the same time.
With a deep breath, she started walking again, her mind racing with questions and emotions she couldn't begin to understand. All she knew was that she would never forget the feeling of being so small in the presence of something so incredibly powerful. And maybe, just maybe, she wouldn't mind experiencing that feeling again, if only for a moment.
