Atalanta - Western Adult Comic
The sun was setting over the dusty, desolate town of Atalanta. The air was thick with anticipation as a group of townsfolk gathered around the wooden post that stood at the center of the town square. They'd come to witness a spectacle unlike anything they'd ever seen before. A spectacle that would change their lives forever.
A figure emerged from the shadows, casting an imposing silhouette against the setting sun. It was a woman - a giantess, towering over the crowd at an astonishing height of at least twenty feet tall. She was clad in leather armor, her long black hair flowing behind her like a river of ink. In one hand, she held a massive sword that could have passed for a pike. In the other hand, she held a small child - a boy, no more than five years old.
The giantess surveyed the crowd with cold, emotionless eyes. She didn't speak, but her presence alone was enough to send shivers down the spines of those gathered around her. There was an air of menace about her, of a predator that could strike at any moment. Yet, there was also an aura of strength and power that was intoxicating to some.
Suddenly, the giantess dropped the child onto the ground. The boy landed with a soft thud, but didn't move for several seconds, staring up at his giant captor in terror. Then, he scrambled to his feet and ran towards the crowd, his tiny eyes filled with tears.
"Help me!" he cried, his voice breaking. "She's going to kill me!"
The townsfolk stood frozen, unsure of what to do. They'd never seen anything like this before. The boy ran circles around them, his tiny feet barely touching the ground as he frantically sought refuge.
Finally, a man stepped forward, his voice steady and strong. "Calm down, son," he said, kneeling down to meet the boy's eyes. "Tell us what happened."
The boy took a shaky breath, then began to speak between sobs. "She... she captured me while I was playing in the woods," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "She said I'm going to be her champion, but I don't want to fight!"
The man looked up at the giantess, his expression a mix of anger and fear. "Why did you bring this child here?" he demanded to know. "What do you plan to do with him?"
The giantess looked down at the man, her eyes narrowing slightly. "This child is my champion," she replied, her voice like thunder echoing through the quiet town square. "He will fight for me, and together, we will rule this land."
A murmur ran through the crowd, some nodding in agreement, others exchanging worried glances. The giantess stepped forward, her boots thundering against the dusty ground as she approached the man who had spoken.
"Do you challenge me, then?" she growled, lifting her massive sword threateningly.
The man stood his ground, his jaw clenched tight. "Yes," he replied, his voice steady despite the fear coursing through his veins. "I challenge you."
With a roar that could be heard for miles, the giantess charged forward, swinging her massive sword with enough force to split the town square in two. The man raised his hands in defense, but it was too late. The blade came crashing down on him, sending a shower of dust and debris flying through the air.
The crowd watched in horror as the giantess stood triumphant over her fallen opponent. She turned back to the boy, her expression softening slightly. "My champion," she said, reaching down to pick him up once again. "You have shown your courage and bravery today. From this day forth, you will be my most trusted ally. Together, we shall rule this land."
And with that, the giantess turned and walked away, leaving the townsfolk stunned and speechless behind her. They had just witnessed the birth of a legend - one that would forever change the course of their lives.
