Her skin was ashen and her movements were jerky, almost as if she were shadow of her former self. She crept forward with slow, deliberate steps, her eyes piercing through the darkness like twin beacons of madness. The air around her seemed to crackle with an unearthly energy, sending chills down the spines of anyone unfortunate enough to cross her path. As she reached the outskirts of a small village, the creature paused for a moment before letting out a deep, guttural roar that echoed through the valley. The villagers were awoken by the sound, their sleepy minds struggling to process the nightmarish reality unfolding before them.
