No Ragrets - An Eldritchgts Studio Story
She woke up, disoriented and confused. Her head felt like it was filled with cotton wool, and the room around her seemed strange and unfamiliar. As she slowly sat up, she took in her surroundings. The walls were a dull gray, and the only furniture in the room was a small bed and a metal table. She couldn't help but shiver as she remembered where she was.
A faint glow emanated from beneath the door on the far side of the room. It was time for her to continue. With trembling hands, she picked up the metal bucket that sat beside the bed and slowly made her way towards the door. As she approached, the glow intensified, filling her with a sense of dread.
Pushing open the door, she was hit by a wave of cold air. Before her stood a tall, imposing figure, its form almost completely obscured by the mist that swirled around it. A deep, echoing voice resonated throughout the room. "You have returned, human. What do you wish to do?"
Swallowing hard, she forced herself to speak. "I... I want to grow."
The figure seemed to consider her words for a moment before raising one gloved hand. A strange, otherworldly energy began to flow into her from the bucket she held. As it entered her body, she could feel her muscles tense and her bones stretching. It was exhilarating and terrifying all at once.
The figure watched impassively as she doubled in size, her body growing more voluptuous with each passing second. It continued to pour the strange energy into her until she stood at an impressive seven feet tall, towering over the misty figure before her.
She could hardly contain her excitement as she grasped the handle of the metal table and pulled it towards her, straining against its weight. The table creaked under the strain, but it held firm. She climbed onto it, her legs dangling over the sides as she reached for the lever that would cause it to rise.
With a loud metallic groan, the table began to ascend, carrying her up towards the ceiling. As she neared the top, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps. But she couldn't look away from the view that unfolded before her.
She found herself in a vast, cavernous chamber, its walls adorned with intricate patterns and runes that seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy. At the far end of the room, she could see a massive structure, rising up into the darkness like a monolith. It was then that she remembered why she was here.
She had been chosen by the Eldritch Beings that ruled this place to aid them in their mysterious purposes. In return, they had granted her the power to grow, to become bigger and stronger than any human before her. And now, it was time for her to use that power.
With trembling fingers, she reached for the lever that would activate the structure before her, her heart pounding in her ears. This was it - the moment she had been waiting for. The moment when she would step into the unknown, and perhaps find a place in this strange, otherworldly realm.
She pulled the lever, and with a deafening roar, the massive structure began to move, its gears and levers groaning under the strain. As it started to rise, she felt a sense of euphoria wash over her, like nothing she had ever experienced before. She was a giant, towering over the world below, and nothing could stop her now.
