The people inside, who had been hiding in fear or watching in awe from the upper floors, began to scurry away from her path, trying to avoid being crushed under her feet or knocked over by her huge arms.

Finally, she reached the top floor, where she paused once more, her chest rising and falling with each deep breath. She looked out at the view, taking in the sight of her small, helpless town spread out below her. And then, with a contented sigh, she walked towards the edge of the building, leaning forward until she was hanging over the side by her fingertips.

"This," she said, her voice booming through the silent night like thunder, "is what it feels like to be a goddess."
