Jeff gasped for air, his eyes wide with fear. It was the first time Richard had seen him truly scared. Maybe this would be the wake-up call he needed. Richard leaned in close, his face mere inches from Jeff's. "You have until tomorrow morning to come up with a plan to start pulling your weight," he warned. "Or else."

With that, Richard let Jeff go, watching as he scrambled to catch his breath. The tension in the air was thick, but at least now, Jeff knew that Richard was serious. Maybe now, he would finally start contributing to their shared living space.
