It's owned by two charming brothers named Pippin and Stavros Stromboli, who have become local celebrities thanks to their mouthwatering cannoli desserts. But beneath the surface, rumors swirl about their involvement in illicit trade.

Enter Zoe Grey, an intrepid reporter for South Hampton Channel 6 News, determined to uncover the truth. She enlists the help of Cici Anders, a skilled private investigator, to gather evidence of the Strombolis' criminal activities. Together, they infiltrate the brothers' old country house on the outskirts of town, hoping to find something incriminating.

As they explore the run-down manor, they split up to cover more ground. Cici manages to pick a lock and discovers a hidden closet, but finds nothing of interest. Meanwhile, Zoe wanders through the halls, lost in thought about the case. Suddenly, she's ambushed from behind by a masked figure. He gags her with his hand and tapes her wrists, ankles, and mouth shut.

Cici hears Zoe's cries for help but doesn't realize she's in danger until it's too late. The masked figure overpowers her too, tying her up and gagging her with silver duct tape. He reveals himself to be the personal bodyguard of the Stromboli brothers and plans to clean up any evidence linking them to organized crime.

Trapped and bound together on the couch, Zoe and Cici struggle against their restraints. But as they grow frustrated, they can't help but feel an unexpected attraction towards each other.
