Giantess House Rules
As the giantess strolls into her living room, her presence alone commands attention. She walks confidently, her stride long and powerful, contrasting sharply with the tiny townspeople who cower on the floor before her. She greets them warmly, her voice booming but gentle at the same time.
"Good evening, my little ones. I trust you've been behaving yourselves?"
The townspeople nod in unison, their eyes wide with awe and fear. The giantess smiles benevolently down at them before lying down on the carpet, inviting them to gather around her.
"I must say, you all look quite exhausted. Have you been having fun exploring my home?"
A few of the bolder townspeople nod, while others shake their heads, still too terrified to speak. The giantess chuckles softly, her gaze drifting towards the middle of the room where her precious magic penny lies.
"I hope you've been taking good care of my penny, haven't you?"
There's a collective gasp from the townspeople as they realize what she's implying. They look around nervously, unsure of who might have disobeyed her. The giantess reads the tension in the air and sighs, knowing that someone has crossed the line.
"I can see you're all on edge. I hate to worry you like this, but trust me when I say it's important to me that you take care of my things."
Her voice softens as she speaks these words, but there's an undercurrent of warning that sends shivers down the spines of the townspeople. One brave soul finally speaks up, their voice trembling.
"We- we promise to take care of it, Mistress. We're sorry."
The giantess nods, satisfied with their response. She reaches down and plucks the offending townsperson from the floor, holding them close to her face.
"Good. Then let's make sure everyone knows the house rules. From now on, anyone who disobeys me will face my wrath. Do you understand?"
There's a collective nod from the townspeople, their eyes filled with fear and respect. The giantess smiles, pleased with their response. She gently places the townsperson back on the floor and stands up, towering over them.
"Now, why don't you all go and rest? Tomorrow will be a big day, and I want you to be ready for it."
The townspeople scatter, afraid to disobey her but equally terrified of what might happen if they don't. The giantess watches them go, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. She knows that they may not understand it yet, but they will learn to respect her authority and obey her every command. As the last townsperson disappears from view, the giantess turns her attention back to her precious penny, a small smile playing across her face.
The next morning, the giantess awakens to find her precious penny missing from its place in the middle of the room. She frowns, confused and slightly worried. She scans the room, looking for any signs of disturbance, but finds nothing untoward.
"Who could have taken it?" she wonders aloud, her frown deepening.
As she ponders the mystery, a small voice pipes up from the floor.
"It was me, Mistress. I'm sorry."
The giantess turns around, her eyes narrowing in anger. There, hiding behind another townsperson, is the thief. She strides purposefully over to them, her hand outstretched.
"Come here," she says, her voice cold and commanding.
The thief hesitates for a moment before slowly standing up. They tremble as they walk towards the giantess, their eyes fixed on the floor. The giantess reaches out, grabbing them by the collar of their shirt. She lifts them up until they're eye level with her, her face a mask of fury.
"You thought you could steal from me, didn't you?" she hisses.
The thief whimpers, their brave front crumbling under the giantess's gaze.
"I'm sorry, Mistress. I didn't mean to. I just wanted to see what it was like to have something of my own."
The giantess's expression softens slightly, her grip on the thief's shirt loosening. She sighs, knowing that they're only human after all.
"I understand," she says, her voice gentle once more. "But you must understand something too. This isn't just any object we're talking about. This penny is special to me, and it holds a great deal of power. Do you know what would happen if someone else were to find it and use it for their own purposes?"
The thief shakes their head, their eyes wide with fear. The giantess releases them, watching as they scurry back to their place on the floor. She sighs again, knowing that she needs to set an example.
"From now on, anyone who disobeys me or disrespects my property will face my wrath. Do you understand?"
There's a chorus of solemn nods from the townspeople, their eyes fixed on the giantess. She smiles, satisfied with their response.
"Good. Now let's get ready for the day ahead."
As the townspeople gather around her, the giantess feels a sense of pride wash over her. They may not love her yet, but they respect her authority. And that, she thinks, is a good start.
