Amidst the chaos, Kira sniffs the air, her nostrils flaring as she picks up on the scent of something edible. Her eyes dart around, scanning the area for potential prey. She zeroes in on a tiny figure scurrying across the sidewalk—a human, no bigger than an ant to her.
Kira's heartbeat thunders in her ears as she stalks towards the unsuspecting creature. The anticipation builds within her; hunger has made her desperate and unpredictable.
The Chase
