Beth's heart raced as she heard footsteps approaching from behind. She didn't know what they had in store for her, but she couldn't shake the feeling of dread that had been weighing her down since she'd been caught trying to access the shady sales order files.
As the footsteps grew closer, she tensed up, preparing for whatever was about to happen. But instead of a confrontation, she felt herself being roughly grabbed and dragged up a dark, musty flight of stairs. The harsh grip on her arm only tightened as she was shoved into a dimly lit room and the door slammed shut behind her.
Her eyes darted around, trying to adjust to the darkness. She realized she was in some kind of storage room, filled with old props and costumes from the theatre company she'd been investigating. As she tried to make sense of her surroundings, she felt a sharp tug on her wrists, and suddenly she was bound tightly with silver tape.
The realization that she was completely helpless hit her like a ton of bricks. She struggled against her bonds, trying to break free, but it was no use. Every movement only pulled the tape tighter, making it impossible for her to escape.
She felt a cold sweat break out on her forehead as she realized she was completely at the mercy of whoever had put her here. The thought terrified her, but she refused to give up. She continued to struggle against her bonds, desperate to find a way out of this nightmare.
Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, she felt something else being stuffed into her mouth. It was all she could do to keep from gagging as she felt her socks being pulled off and shoved deep into her throat. She tried to scream, but all that came out was a muffled whimper.
And then, just as suddenly as she'd been grabbed, she was left alone. The door slammed shut, leaving her in complete darkness. The only sound was the muffled gagging coming from her mouth.
Beth lay there, bound and gagged, trying to figure out what to do next. She was completely at the mercy of whoever had put her here, and she had no idea what they had planned for her. All she knew was that she had to find a way out of this mess before it was too late.
