In this latest installment, "Freeze Framed," our heroine is tasked with retrieving a mysterious device called the "Numbinizer 3000." Little does she know, this seemingly innocuous object will cause her nothing but trouble.
The story opens with Charlie, clad in her signature brown bikini, thigh-high leather boots, and short leather gloves, sneaking into a dingy apartment. Her eyes dart around the room as she searches for any sign of the device or its thief. She's used to taking down supervillains with ease, but this time she feels a sense of unease creeping up on her.
As she investigates further, her senses are suddenly overwhelmed by an invisible force that leaves her frozen in place. The device, a strange contraption that looks like a cross between a toilet brush and a science experiment, has activated. Charlie's body feels numb, her muscles locked in place by an invisible force field.
Despite her predicament, Charlie refuses to give up. With her fists still raised and her assailant nowhere in sight, she struggles against her restraints. But try as she might, she can't move an inch. The ropes that bind her are too tight, the device's rays too powerful.
