A Morsel of Entertainment
Peering down from her throne, Queen Keri Spectrum surveyed her vast kingdom with a bored expression. Her vast, imposing form towered over every inch of her opulent chambers, dwarfing even the grandest of her ornate furnishings. Yet still, she felt a nagging itch for something more exciting.
Suddenly, her pet spider—a creature the size of a small dog—scurried across the marble floor, its eight legs moving in a blur of motion. It seemed to be leading her somewhere...
A House Full of Tiny Intruders
Keri followed the spider out of her chambers and down a series of winding corridors, her massive footsteps echoing in the emptiness. As she rounded a corner, she saw what her spider had found: a house swarming with tiny people, no bigger than insects.
They scurried about, oblivious to her presence, going about their daily lives in their miniature world. Without a second thought, Keri reached down and scooped up one of the tiny figures in her palm, examining it curiously. She'd never seen anything like this before...
The Queen's Amusement
Her curiosity piqued, Keri decided to make these tiny creatures the centerpiece of her entertainment for the day. One by one, she plucked them from their homes and held them up to her gaze, examining their tiny bodies with wonder. Some struggled, but most simply cowered in fear at the sight of their massive overlord.
As the day wore on, she began to grow bored again. So, she decided to mix things up a bit. With a mischievous grin, she started to crush some of the tiny figures underfoot, their fragile bodies shattering like glass beneath her immense weight. Others, she swallowed whole, feeling them slide down her throat like tiny morsels of food.
The Tiny Tragedy
Over the course of the day, Keri amused herself by playing with her new toys. She stomped on some, crushing them underfoot, and swallowed others whole. By the end of the day, there was not a single tiny creature left alive in the house.
As dusk fell over the kingdom, Keri returned to her chambers, feeling satisfied with her day's entertainment. Yet even as she settled back onto her throne, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. Perhaps it was time to find new playthings...
