A vein begins to pulse on Zoya's forehead; she can feel the familiar anger bubbling up inside her. She wastes no time unloading a barrage of accusations and demands, her voice rising with each word.
Alex tries to ignore her, hoping the storm will pass soon. However, Zoya's persistent anger escalates the situation further, and she starts throwing things around the room. Alex finally loses his patience, standing up and grabbing a coil of rope from the corner.
In an instant, he wraps the rope around Zoya's wrists, binding them tightly behind her back. Her eyes widen in disbelief as she feels the rough material against her skin. Before she can react, Alex swiftly moves to her ankles, tying them together with a complex knot.
