A Late Night Surprise in the Stockroom
Desperation Grips the Innocent Employee
Pepper Sterling's heart pounded in her chest as she took in the scene before her. A strange man stood in the dimly lit stockroom, his hands moving swiftly across the shelves filled with supplies. He seemed so at ease, so confident, but Pepper knew something was off. It was well past closing time, and this stranger had no business being there.
She tried to reason with him, pleading for him to leave before calling the police, but he wouldn't listen. His eyes held a steely determination that sent shivers down her spine. Before she could react, he lunged forward, grabbing her wrists and binding them tightly with bright neon zip ties.
Panic set in as Pepper realized she was helpless. Her attempts to free herself only resulted in the ties digging deeper into her skin. She tried to scream, but the man had anticipated that too; he'd stuffed a huge foam ball into her mouth and taped it shut. She could barely breathe, let alone make a sound.
The man's next move sent her heart plummeting into her stomach. He picked her up, bound and gagged, and carried her to a chair. With cold, calculated precision, he bound her to the chair, ensuring she was immobilized. Then, he turned his attention to her face, pulling out a roll of sticky microfoam tape.
Pepper watched in horror as he began to wrap the tape around her mouth, covering her face from just below her nose to her chin. She could feel the tape pulling at her hair, the sides of her face. She tried to fight back, but it was no use. She was completely at his mercy.
As he finished binding her, the man leaned in close, his breath hot on her ear. "You're going to pay for your boss's mistakes," he whispered menacingly. "And I'm going to make sure you do." Pepper felt a chill run down her spine as he walked away, leaving her helpless and terrified. She couldn't imagine how she was going to get out of this situation, or who would believe her if she did.
