Mia - Layla come home and help me remaster (mobile)
Mia's eyes darted around the room, her heart racing in his chest as she listened to the muffled voice on the other end of the line. It was Layla, her best friend from college. Mia had called her earlier that day, concerned about their mutual friend Eleonora. Apparently, she had been tied up and gagged by a robber. Layla found it hard to believe such a thing could happen - after all, hadn't they all grown out of playing those kinds of games?
But Mia appeared genuinely worried, so Layla agreed to come over after work. She hung up the phone, the room spinning around her as she tried to process what had just happened. Her mind wandered back to their youth, filled with silly games and harmless fun. Could something like this really happen in real life?
Mia lay down on the couch, the events of the day catching up to her. She felt a sudden jolt as something soft pressed against her mouth. When she opened her eyes, she saw strips of tape covering her lips. Her hands were tied behind her back, and her ankles were bound together.
Before she could even process what was happening, she felt the ropes tightening around her wrists and ankles. She struggled to free herself, but it was no use. The ropes were tied too tightly, and she couldn't move an inch.
A sense of panic overcame her as she realized she was completely at the mercy of whoever had done this to her. Her mind raced with questions - why me? How long will this last? Will anyone find me?
Just as these thoughts crossed her mind, she heard footsteps approaching. The person stood there, staring at her with a sinister grin. He reached out and grabbed her by the hair, pulling her head back. She felt a cold, rubbery object press against her mouth.
He spoke slowly, his voice deep and menacing. "You're going to be just fine, sweetheart. But you're not going anywhere until I say so."
Mia tried to scream, but the gag muffled her cries. She could feel her breath coming in short, desperate gasps. She knew she was in trouble - really big trouble.
Time seemed to stand still as Mia lay there, bound and gagged. She felt her strength ebbing away, her body growing weaker by the minute. All she could do was wait, and hope that Layla would come soon.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching. She squinted, trying to make out who it was through her tears and the blur of her vision.
As the figure came into focus, Mia let out a sigh of relief. It was Layla, her best friend. But something was different about her - she looked scared, and disheveled.
"Layla, thank god you're here!" Mia tried to say, but all that came out was a muffled whimper. Layla rushed over to her side, concern etched on her face.
"Mia, what happened?" she asked, her voice shaking. Mia tried to catch her breath, the gag making it hard for her to speak. She managed to nod towards the door, indicating that Layla should look.
Layla cautiously approached the door, her heart pounding in her chest. As she peered outside, she saw the ropes tied around the handle, securing it shut. She felt a sudden chill run down her spine.
"What's going on, Mia?" she asked, her voice trembling. Mia tried to shake her head, her eyes pleading with Layla to understand.
"Layla, we need to get out of here. The robber, he's still here. He's not going to let us go."
Layla's mind raced, trying to come up with a plan. She looked around the room, taking in their surroundings. The windows were closed, and there was no way to escape through them. They were trapped.
Time seemed to stand still as the two friends sat there, bound and gagged. The only sound was their heavy breathing and the occasional rustle of fabric.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they heard the front door open. Layla and Mia exchanged a look of fear, their hearts pounding in their chests. They both knew that this was it - their moment of truth.
The robber entered the room, a smirk playing on his lips. He walked over to Mia, his eyes never leaving her face. He reached down and untied the gag from her mouth.
"Well, well, well," he said, chuckling softly. "Look who's finally awake."
Mia tried to speak, but her voice was hoarse from disuse. She managed to croak out a question.
"What are you going to do with us?"
The robber leaned in close, his breath hot against her ear. "Oh, don't you worry about that," he said, his voice low and menacing. "You're going to have a lot of fun."
Layla watched in horror as the robber walked out of the room, leaving them alone. She turned to Mia, her eyes filled with tears. "We have to get out of here," she whispered. "We have to find a way."
But as they both sat there, bound and gagged, they knew that their time was running out. The robber was coming back, and he would do whatever he wanted to them. All they could do was wait, and hope for a miracle.
