You stood there, a towering giantess before me, your crimson eyes narrowed in anger. My heart hammered in my chest as I realized the enormity of my mistake. I had crossed the line, and now I would pay the price.
"You thought you could get away with it?" Your deep, resonant voice shook the air around us. I swallowed hard, my throat suddenly dry. "You're nothing but a pathetic little worm, trying to challenge a goddess like me."
You raised your hand, and a wave of power washed over me. I felt myself shrinking, my clothes tightening around me as my body shrank to barely half my original size. The world tilted and spun, and I staggered, my once-confident steps now reduced to tiny, stumbling hops.
"Run, you worthless piece of dirt," you growled, your towering figure looming over me. "Run if you can, before I change my mind and decide to crush you like the insect you are."
Terror gripped me as I turned and bolted, my lungs burning from the effort of running. The ground rushed up to meet me, and I forced myself to keep moving, knowing that if I stopped, it would be game over.
Behind me, I could feel your presence growing closer, the sound of your footsteps pounding the earth like thunder. I pushed myself harder, my tiny legs pumping frantically, my heart pounding like a drum.
Suddenly, I felt a hand close around me, and I was lifted into the air. I squirmed and twisted, but it was no use. You held me easily, as if I weighed nothing at all.
"I think I'll just carry you to your fate," you purred, your voice low and menacing. "It'll be that much more satisfying when I crush you underfoot."
I closed my eyes, waiting for the end. But as the ground grew closer, I felt a sudden jerk, and then I was falling, tumbling through the air. I screamed as the ground rushed up to meet me once again, but this time, I wasn't crushed. Instead, I landed with a soft thud, feeling the grass and dirt beneath my newly-enormous feet.
Slowly, I opened my eyes, and there you were, standing before me, towering over me once again. But this time, there was a spark of curiosity in your eyes. "You intrigue me, little one," you murmured, stepping closer. "I think I'll let you live. For now."
With that, you turned and walked away, leaving me there, shaken but alive. I didn't know what you had in store for me, but one thing was clear: my life would never be the same again.
