The story begins with Beth, the cat burglar, sneaking into the house without any trouble. She's dressed in her signature blue jeans and a tight-fitting t-shirt, looking delicious as she creeps quietly through the halls. But her luck runs out when she's suddenly grabbed by a masked man and slammed against the wall.
He ties her wrists behind her, stuffs a napkin between her teeth, and cinches it tightly before bundling her downstairs. On the living room floor, he ropes her up like a Christmas present, leaving her anxious to escape but hopelessly trussed and unable to move. Eventually, she manages to make it to her trainers and starts hopping wildly through the house, trying desperately to find a way out.
Meanwhile, Imogen, the half-assed detective, arrives at the house with her partner, Detective Hoskins. An informant has led them to believe that there are smuggled items stashed inside and that the smugglers are out on their boat right now. They plan to sneak in while they're out, build their case with hard evidence, and make a name for themselves in the force.
But as they approach the front door, it inexplicably opens. Something feels off, and they know they're walking into a trap. Imogen changes into a disguise and prepares for the worst, but it's too late. The guy is already there, waiting for them. He grabs Imogen, pushes her up against a wall, and binds her wrists behind her back. He then gags her with a cleaning cloth, leaving her unable to speak or move.
Now, both detectives are in a tight spot. They're bound and gagged, their wits and skills rendered useless. They manage to communicate through their gags, planning their escape as best they can. They struggle against their restraints, trying to free themselves and make a break for it.
