Powerless in the Shadows
Ava's heart raced as she felt her way along the smooth walls of the room, the sticky tape binding her eyes shut refusing to let her see. She had been so sure this box was her ticket out of the shady business she had been involved in, helping secure youthful women who disappeared without a trace. Now, she was just as bound and blind as they were.
Panic set in as she realized she had no idea where she was or how to get out. The sound of footsteps echoed through the darkness, sending shivers down her spine. Ava tried desperately to free herself from the tape that held her captive, but it was no use. Every time she thought she had found an end, the tape would stretch and bind her tighter.
The Fateful Meeting
Suddenly, strong hands gripped her shoulders from behind. She screamed into the tape covering her mouth, but it was already too late. Her former partner had found her. His rough hands pinned her arms behind her back, and she felt another strip of tape bind her wrists together.
Ava struggled against her bonds, but it was no use. The tape was too strong, too sticky.
