A New Beginning Turns Into a Nightmare
In the dimly lit safe house, Ava sat on the edge of her bed, clutching a small parcel that held her new identity. She had been planning her escape for months, ready to leave her shady business dealings behind and start anew. As she unwrapped the parcel, a small box caught her eye. It seemed innocuous enough, but something about it felt ominous.
Ignoring the nagging voice in her head, she lifted the lid and gasped as two glowing orbs shot out and stuck to her eyes, gluing them shut! Panic set in as she tried to pry them off, but they held fast. Blinded and terrified, she stumbled around the room, feeling her way through the darkness.
Suddenly, a cold hand clasped over her mouth, and she knew she wasn't alone. Her heart raced as she felt herself being pinned to the wall, the tape starting to bind her hands behind her back. She squealed in fear, but her cries were muffled by the tape that covered her mouth.
