In a dimly lit room, the Goblin Goddess (GG), her imposing stature towering over the surroundings, leans against the wall, her phone pressed against her ear. Her delicate feet, adorned in ornate golden high heels that reach the ceiling, tap impatiently as she listens to her assistant's voice on the other end. "What were you thinking, booking me an interview with someone like that?" She asks, her eyes narrowing in disapproval. "I mean, just look at their resume! It's pathetic!"
The assistant's muffled voice tries to defend itself, but it falls on deaf ears. GG casually flips through a stack of papers, her long, elegant nails dragging across the edges. "I don't care how good they claimed to be," she growls. "I'm not impressed."
A sudden gust of wind sends papers flying off the table, and GG chuckles darkly. "Tell them I'm running late," she says, her voice laced with amusement. "And while they wait, maybe they can clean up this mess."
As the call ends, GG's attention turns towards the door. She tilts her head slightly, listening for any signs of movement outside. Her nostrils flare, and she inhales deeply, picking up the scent of her prey. It's weak, but it's there.
Intrigued, GG decides to play a game with her unsuspecting victim. She walks over to the window, her towering figure casting an ominous shadow across the room. With a slow, deliberate movement, she parts the curtains just enough to reveal a glimpse of the chaos outside.
Meanwhile, in another part of the room, a bundle of nerves lies crumpled on the floor, their heart racing as they listen to GG's conversation. They're so focused on trying to remain hidden that they don't notice the growing pile of books and papers stacked against the wall, threatening to topple over at any moment.
"GG isn't impressed with your little resume," they whisper to themselves, their voice shaking. "She thinks you're late... She thinks you're insignificant."
Tears well up in their eyes as they crawl closer to the wall, desperate for any kind of cover. But just as they think they've found a safe spot, a sudden gust of wind sends the books and papers careening towards them. They let out a shrill scream, their voice barely audible over the sound of crashing paper.
As the dust settles, GG takes a step back and surveys the damage. "Well, well, well," she says, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Looks like someone's having a rough day." She chuckles softly, her amusement growing. "I wonder what else could go wrong?"
In the midst of the chaos, the poor soul on the floor tries to explain their predicament. "GG, I'm on the floor," they whisper, their voice sounding distant and small. "I'm trying to get your attention, but I don't think you can hear me."
GG pauses for a moment, her gaze fixed on the spot where she last saw her prey. "Oh, I can hear you," she says, her voice carrying an ominous undertone. "But you sound so far away..."
