A Stealthy Surprise
Violet was enjoying her morning routine, sipping coffee while gazing out the window. The sun slowly rose, casting warm rays across her body. She felt a strange sensation in her mouth—a tickling, an itch that refused to be scratched. Puzzled, she reached for her toothbrush and began to brush, trying to dislodge whatever was causing the discomfort. But the feeling persisted, growing more insistent with each passing moment.
A Tiny Discovery
Finally, she gave in and gingerly opened her mouth, peering into the mirror. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw a tiny figure clinging to her tongue. It was a man, no bigger than her pinky finger. He looked frightened and out of place among her teeth.
Instinctively, she knew he couldn't have been there before. She racked her brain, trying to remember the previous day. Had she eaten something strange? Or perhaps she'd been careless and swallowed something unintentionally. Whatever the case, this tiny man was now part of her world, and she needed to figure out what to do next.
As she stood there, staring at the man in the mirror, her heart raced. She felt an odd mix of fear and fascination. He was so small and vulnerable, but there was something about him that drew her in. His pleading eyes seemed to beg for mercy, but she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this situation than met the eye.
Deciding to play it safe, Violet quickly grabbed a glass of water and poured it into her mouth, creating a rushing stream that threatened to wash the man away. He clung tightly to her tongue, his eyes wide with terror. She could feel his tiny body shivering against her tongue.
Swallowing hard, Violet tried to dislodge the man from her mouth. But try as she might, he refused to budge. She could feel him clinging onto her tongue, desperate not to be swallowed whole. A strange sense of kinship washed over her. This man was just as scared and confused as she was. He was in her world now, and she had to decide what to do with him.
As she stood there, the man in her mouth became still. Was he giving up? Or was he biding his time, waiting for the right moment to make his move? Violet wasn't sure, but she knew one thing for sure - this tiny man had definitely made her morning a lot more interesting.
