Arrival
Danielle, a tall and statuesque woman, steps into the rental apartment with a sigh of relief. She's been on a long trip, and all she wants is to rest in the comfort of her temporary home. She's unaware of the tiny inhabitants that surround her, their microscopic forms invisible to her naked eye.
Unwanted Guests
As she begins to unpack her bags, she notices something on the floor. At first, she thinks it's just a stray crumb or piece of dirt. But as she bends down for a closer look, she realizes it's a group of insects. Growing irritated, she reaches out to crush them underfoot, their squishing sounds filling the silence.
Discovery
Danielle's phone rings, and she answers it, still standing over the crushed insects. Her friend is on the other end, catching her up on local gossip. As they chat, she notices more insects crawling across the floor towards her. This time, she doesn't hesitate to stomp on them, smirking as their bodies burst under her heel.
Accidental Encounter
Hours pass, and Danielle finds herself lost in thought on the couch. Without realizing it, she's begun to unconsciously squish insects between her fingers, enjoying the satisfying crunch. Suddenly, she notices a group of insects that are different from the others. They're larger, and their movements are more erratic.
Revelation
In that moment, it hits her. These aren't insects—they're people. Tiny, microscopic people. But to her, it doesn't make a difference. They're still pests, and she intends to get rid of them. With a twisted grin, she stands up, ready to hunt down every last one of these unwelcome guests.
