As the cold winter winds howled outside, Lilith sat curled up on her cozy couch with a book, trying to ignore the shivers that ran through her body. She was grateful for the soft turtleneck sweater, leggings, and thick socks that covered her, but the heating wasn't working properly, and the chill seemed to seep into her bones.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Lilith set her book down and walked over to the door, the tension in her shoulders rising as she wondered who could be visiting her in this frigid weather. As she peered through the peephole, her heart skipped a beat when she saw a woman standing before her.
"Hello?" Lilith said, her voice quivering with fear.
The woman introduced herself as Alba, claiming to be her neighbor. But something about her seemed off—she was too composed, too confident.
"Um, nice to meet you," Lilith said, her voice unsteady. "But I don't remember seeing you before. And it's really cold out there. Do you want to come in?"
Alba smiled slightly and replied, "In your apartment... for a few days."
Before Lilith could even process her words, Alba grabbed her arm, and a man, Raimondo, who had been hiding in the shadows, entered. They quickly tied her up with ropes, leaving her bound and gagged on the cold floor.
As she tried to wriggle free, Lilith's mind raced. Who were these people? What did they want from her? And why were they using her apartment?
Alba calmly explained that they intended to use her apartment as a base for a robbery. The apartment next door belonged to a wealthy collector, and they wanted to reach it via the shared terrace. "All you have to do," Alba said, "is be quiet and calm."
Lilith shook her head in disbelief. This couldn't be happening. She felt desperate, alone, and vulnerable. But she refused to give up. Gritting her teeth, she tried to free herself from the ropes that bound her hands and feet.
Meanwhile, Alba and Raimondo discussed their plan, their voices distant and indistinct to Lilith's ears. She could only imagine the horror they were planning next door.
Finally, Alba returned, her expression unreadable. She removed the gag from Lilith's mouth and said, "I think you need a second lesson."
Lilith trembled as Alba tied her big toes together with a rope, leaving her completely immobilized. She yelped in pain, her voice muffled by the thick layers of duct tape that now covered her mouth. She was powerless to stop them, and the cold floor only added to her discomfort.
As the hours passed, Lilith could hear the sounds of movement in the apartment next door. Alba and Raimondo were carrying out their plan, and Lilith could only watch helplessly. She wriggled and twisted against the ropes, trying to free herself, but it was no use.
Finally, Alba and Raimondo returned, their mission accomplished. They were no longer in need of Lilith's apartment, but they couldn't leave her behind. They tied her in a hogtie on the floor, with a tape wrap around her, ensuring that she couldn't escape even if she managed to free herself from the ropes.
Lilith shivered from the cold, exhausted and silent. But no one seemed to hear her moans. Alba calmly tidied the room and then left her, hopefully forever. Lilith was alone, abandoned, and bound in a web of fear and despair.
As the sun set and darkness descended upon the city, Lilith lay there, her mind racing. She wondered if anyone would ever find her, if she would ever escape this nightmare. All she could do was wait, hope, and pray for a miracle.
