d2601HART-Cannot talk on the phone right now! He has me gagged!
The house is quiet, but inside, the air is thick with expectation. Summer Hart stands by the phone, her heart racing as she hears it ring. She knows that her husband won't be home for hours, and yet she can't help but feel a sense of dread creeping up on her.
As the phone stops ringing, Summer lets out a sigh of relief. But then she remembers—she's been tied up by her own husband! Gagged with a tight ball gag in her mouth, she can't even scream for help. She tries to move, but her arms are bound tightly behind her back and her legs are secured to the chair she's sitting on.
Minutes turn into hours, and Summer's struggle becomes more and more desperate. She glances down at the phone, wishing she could pick it up and answer it properly. But all she can do is stare, her eyes wide with fear and anticipation.
Just when she thinks she can't take it anymore, she hears footsteps approaching. Her heart skips a beat as she tries to make herself as small as possible. She knows that it's only a matter of time before her captor returns to gloat over his conquest.
But then, to her surprise, the door swings open, and a woman she's never seen before walks in. The woman looks around, taking in the scene before her: Summer, bound and gagged, struggling to free herself. And then, without a word, she walks over to Summer and starts to untie her.
Summer's eyes widen in disbelief as she feels the ropes slowly slipping away. She can't believe it—someone has actually come to rescue her! As the last of the ropes fall away, she scrambles to her feet, her heart pounding in her chest.
"Thank you, thank you so much!" she cries, her voice muffled by the gag. The woman just smiles and nods, before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a set of keys.
"Your husband left these behind when he tied you up," she says, unlocking the gag. "I found them on the ground outside."
Summer's mouth falls open as she realizes what's happening. This woman isn't here to hurt her—she's here to help! With a grateful smile, she nods her thanks and watches as the woman leaves the room, promising to come back later with some ice for her swollen wrists.
As the door closes behind her, Summer collapses back into the chair, her entire body shaking with relief. She can't believe she was ever so scared—but she's alive, and she's free. And for that, she's eternally grateful.
