Hidden in Plain Sight #10 – But You Don’t
As you walk down the bustling city street, your gaze is drawn to the towering figure that seems to blend into the crowd. Her stride is confident yet casual, her towering height making her the unspoken center of attention. Her presence commands respect, yet she moves with an air of casual indifference. You find yourself fixated on her, unable to tear your eyes away from the sight of her. Something about her draws you in, like a siren's song.
Suddenly, she stops and turns towards you, meeting your gaze head-on. There's a challenge in her eyes, daring you to look away. Your heart races as you're caught in her gaze, unable to break free from her hypnotic stare. She smirks, knowing full well the effect she has on you. You feel powerless against her, yet strangely drawn to her.
Without breaking eye contact, she begins to walk towards you. Your pulse quickens as she approaches, looming over you like a skyscraper. The feeling of insignificance washes over you, but you don't care. All that matters is being in her presence. She leans down, her face mere inches from yours, her warm breath caressing your skin.
"And what do you see, little one?" she whispers, her voice a seductive rumble. You swallow hard, unable to find your voice. She smiles, amused by your silence. "You see what you want," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I'm not here for you."
With that, she straightens up and continues down the street, leaving you standing there in awe of her. As she disappears into the crowd, you can't help but wonder: what else might you have seen if you hadn't been so transfixed by her? What else was hidden in plain sight all along?
