Worship Not Optional
In the dead of night, the city was silent. The only sound that could be heard was the soft rustling of leaves and the distant howl of a lone wolf. It was during these quiet hours that an eerie feeling swept over the streets, as if something otherworldly was lurking in the shadows.
Little did anyone know, a giantess had descended upon the city, her colossal form towering over the skyscrapers. Her name was unknown, but her presence was felt by all who dared to look up. Her skin glowed with an unearthly light, casting strange shadows across the buildings below. Despite the fear she inspired, there was also an undeniable allure to her, drawing people towards her like moths to a flame.
As the giantess walked through the city, she noticed a small group of people gathered in a park. They seemed to be lost in their own world, oblivious to her arrival. With a menacing growl, she stomped towards them, her footsteps shaking the ground beneath them.
The group of people looked up, their eyes widening in terror as they saw the massive figure bearing down on them. None of them moved or spoke, frozen in place by fear. The giantess loomed over them, her face a mask of indifference, waiting for their reaction.
Finally, one of the men mustered the courage to speak. "Who... who are you?" His voice trembled, betraying his fear.
The giantess turned her gaze towards him, her eyes glowing ominously. "Worship me," she said, her voice deep and commanding. "It is not optional."
The man opened his mouth to protest, but before he could speak, the giantess reached down and scooped him up in her hand. She held him as if he were no more than a small animal, staring at the rest of the group with an unreadable expression.
"Anyone else want to try their luck?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. No one answered.
Slowly, she raised her hand with the man still held tightly within it, studying the faces of the remaining group as she did so. One by one, they began to drop to their knees, bowing their heads in submission. The man in her hand twisted and squirmed, but his efforts were futile against her immense strength.
Finally, only one person remained standing: a youthful woman with fire in her eyes and a defiant scowl on her face. The giantess watched her carefully, sensing the rebellion simmering just beneath the surface.
"You have a choice," the giantess said. "You can join them and kneel before me, or you can suffer the consequences. The decision is yours."
The youthful woman hesitated for a moment, glancing at the others kneeling on the ground before turning back to face the giantess. "I will not kneel to you," she spat. "I am not your slave."
The giantess's face darkened, and she took a step forward, her towering figure looming even closer over the youthful woman. "Then you will pay the price for your defiance," she growled, reaching down to grab the woman.
But just as she made contact, the woman closed her eyes and whispered something under her breath. Suddenly, the giantess stumbled backward, releasing her grip on the woman as she grabbed her head in pain. The youthful woman stood there for a moment, shocked by her own success, before turning and running into the night.
The giantess watched her go, a mixture of anger and confusion on her face. She had never encountered anyone who could resist her before. With a heavy sigh, she turned and walked back into the city, leaving the group of trembling worshipers behind her.
As she passed by, one of them whispered, "Thank you, brave one. You showed her that we are not her playthings."
The others nodded in agreement, their fear slowly giving way to determination. They may have been forced to kneel before the giantess, but that didn't mean they had to accept her as their master. In their hearts, they swore to resist her every command, to fight against the darkness that had descended upon their city.
And so, the battle against the giantess began, a war waged on both a physical and emotional level. They may have been small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but they refused to be broken. They would fight until the end, until they could reclaim their city and their lives from the giantess's oppressive reign.
