The Power Play Begins
Wendy Wilks nervously approached her college professor's desk, clutching the anatomy exam paper to her chest. She had failed the first two tests miserably, but this time she was determined to pass. With trembling hands, she placed the paper down on the desk and smiled confidently at Dr. La Duke.
The Professor's Doubts
Dr. La Duke eyed the paper suspiciously, his stern gaze unreadable. He took a deep breath and began to skim through the answers, his bushy eyebrows furrowing in confusion. As he flipped through the pages, Wendy couldn't help but feel her heart sink. She had studied so hard for this test, but something told her it wasn't going to be enough.
The Professor's Revelation
Finally, Dr. La Duke looked up at Wendy with a sigh. "I'm afraid I have some bad news for you, Wendy," he said, his voice heavy with disappointment. "Ten out of ten answers on your paper are incorrect."
Wendy's face flushed crimson as she stared at her professor, unable to believe what she was hearing. She had failed again? How was that even possible?
The Professor's Punishment
Dr. La Duke leaned back in his chair, folding his arms across his chest. "It seems you still have a lot to learn, Wendy," he said, his tone now tinged with amusement. "I think it's time we took some extra measures to ensure you don't make the same mistakes again."
Before Wendy could protest, Dr. La Duke stood up from his chair and towered over her. He reached down and grabbed her wrist, pulling her closer to him. "Don't worry, Wendy," he whispered into her ear. "I'm just here to help you understand the material better... and make sure you never forget it again."
As he led her out of his office, Wendy could feel a strange mix of fear and anticipation coursing through her veins. She knew she was in trouble, but something about the way Dr. La Duke was looking at her made her heart race faster.
Only time would tell if Wendy would finally pass her anatomy test... or if she was about to learn the hard way that some lessons simply couldn't be unlearned.
