Dwindling Iva - The First Lesson
9 pages"What the hell, Cass?!" Squealed Jennifer, her ill-fitting garment stiff and awkward on her much smaller form.
The now much taller Cassandra just exhaled - it was almost a purr. She let the question hang in the air for what felt like hours to the smaller of the pair. "I should think this is self-explanatory."
The teal haired woman stomped her feet, wanting to itch at how the garment crawled on her skin. "'Self-explanatory'? I'm the size of... of..."
"A doll. Yes." Cassandra finished, her eyes widening on the word as punctuation. "And I suppose I can explain it - although the spell shouldn't have shrunk your brain, sweetie. I got tired of you always 'borrowing' my clothes without asking. So, I figured, there's a whole wardrobe of clothes from my old dolls in the attic... I bet Jen would look great in those."
The dark-haired woman took a beat. "And I was right. Although it doesn't look too comfortable, I will say.
The shrunken woman would have slapped her friend if she could reach her. "You said you were finally going to teach me magic! I thought that was why we were up here!" She groaned, stomping her feet. She had excitedly followed her companion, and before she knew it there had been a flick of that wand, a flash of light, the sensation of being drowned in fabric, before another glow enveloped her, and then this hideous, uncomfortable attire had appeared on her.
The witch tittered at her shrunken friend's complaint. "Oh, the class has already begun, Jen. First lesson: don't piss me off." She said as a saccharine smile creased her face.
